Turnaround & Restructure Team Expands with Addition of Leah Gerber
SEATTLE, WA – Turning Point is excited to announce the addition of Leah Gerber to its Turnaround and Restructure team, led by Eric Camm. Leah joins the firm during a period of significant growth, bringing nearly a decade of experience in managing complex, multistate business transactions. Her expertise spans creditors’ rights, trust and estate matters, corporate finance, and both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
Leah’s career highlights include supporting a former employer through Chapter 11 bankruptcy, where she ensured accurate reporting and strategic financial operations during a critical time. Most recently, Leah served as Director of Corporate Development at a dental organization, where she led the company's successful sale to a middle-market private equity group. In this role, she collaborated with top-tier organizations, including the world’s largest investment bank, a leading global law firm, and a top accounting firm, skillfully managing extensive due diligence and complex negotiations.
“I was drawn to Turning Point’s talented team, their impressive suite of consulting services, and strong reputation for helping companies navigate complex restructurings,” Leah said of her decision to join the firm. “Having experienced the pressures of Chapter 11 bankruptcy firsthand, I understand the challenges our clients face. I’m eager to apply my expertise with compassion to help distressed businesses find clarity and achieve the best possible outcomes.”
Alan Chaffee, CEO of Turning Point, is thrilled to have Leah on the team - “Leah’s broad experience and ability to adapt to unique business environments makes her an exceptional fit. Our turnaround and restructuring practice is incredibly busy, and Leah’s demonstrated analytical skills and background in problem-solving will be instrumental in delivering the most advantageous solutions for our clients.”
As a restructuring specialist, Leah will work closely with stakeholders to analyze detailed financial statements, develop 13-week cash flow models, and provide data-driven recommendations that maximize value while minimizing costs.
Having recently moved back to Seattle after nearly a decade in Phoenix, Leah looks forward to enjoying the Pacific Northwest lifestyle with her dog, Charlie. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, skiing, and practicing hot yoga. Leah is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Commercial Receivers Association, and has served on various strategic committees for the Junior League. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, holds an MBA, and has a paralegal certification.
