Experienced Consultant, CPA, Joins Turning Point to Help Drive Business Success

SEATTLE, WA – Turning Point is pleased to announce the addition of Allison Bonetti to our consulting team. With an extensive background in auditing, internal controls, and risk management consulting, Allison brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support Turning Point’s mission of helping businesses improve their financial health and profitability.

Allison began her career as an auditor at PwC where she worked primarily with clients in the banking industry. Her career path led to her to the Bank of New York Mellon where she served as Vice President in the SOX department, concentrating on internal controls over financial reporting for the investment banking and asset management sectors. Most recently, Allison contributed her skills at CFGI, where she helped clients implement SOX processes, streamline operations, and improve year-end testing protocols.

Allison’s passion for solving complex problems, helping businesses grow, and making a visible impact in the lives of others is what attracted her to Turning Point. “I’ve always loved being challenged and wanted to find a role where I felt I would make a difference. Turning Point was a great match because I get to work with leaders to improve cash flow, profitability, and overall company value – which ultimately supports our communities,” she shared.

“Finding a technical person with a strategic approach and hands-on consulting experience, who also fits our culture and needs for the role, is a huge win for Turning Point. Allison has a proven track record of improving processes, reporting, and internal controls. We’re incredibly fortunate to have her on our team,” says Alan Chaffee of his firm’s new hire.

As a Senior Consultant, Allison will oversee month-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. In addition, she will manage the maintenance of annual budgets, conduct comparative analyses against interim forecasts, and lead the development and implementation of best practices for accounting policies and procedures.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Allison holds a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania. She relocated to Washington in 2023 and has since enjoyed her new Pacific Northwest surroundings by hiking, camping, and paddleboarding. Indoors, Allison could be a one-man band with her ability to play four different instruments – the clarinet, alto saxophone, guitar, and piano. She prefers to adventure and jam alongside her two golden retrievers, Bailey and Lemon.
